Being the first time in Europe, what I felt
after getting off the plane was exactly the same as I arrived in America,
things are so different from where I came from, China. People around me kept
saying the language, in which I am still a starter and cannot understand very
well. I was so surprised when all the people talked to me in English. I think
it’s probably because I have an ASIAN face? After 12-hour sleep suffering the
jetlag, I started my way to explore the city of Vienna.
During the first week, we walked a lot.
Although the transportation system is well- developed here and U-Bahn can take
you everywhere, walking is a better way to take pictures and to explore the
city. The architectures here really attract me. They match the pictures I saw
when I was four after my dad came back from Europe. These historical buildings
are so different from those in China and in America. They are everywhere in
Vienna and different ones show different stories and histories, which I haven’t
really known yet but will know in the next following months.
In the U-Bahn, I noticed people who work in
the office dress really formal and in an exquisite style. People here also seem
to be ageing well. During the work time they concentrate on their works and
after work people are so relax.I saw a lot of people doing exercises or walking
their babies in their strollers in the garden of Schönbrunn. I like the way
they live and I am considering living here in my old ages.
In a word, Vienna is such a fascinating
city to live in and I am so excited to get to learn more culture about this
city.
